What the game records, what it sends, and what never leaves your device.

The camera

Your camera feed is read entirely inside your browser. Frames are passed to a pose model that also runs in your browser, and are then discarded. No image, no video and no audio is uploaded, stored or recorded anywhere, by us or by anyone else. Nothing you see on screen is a picture of you — the figure in the round is drawn from joint positions, which is why it looks like a mannequin rather than a person.

The pose model and its runtime are served from this site, not from a third-party CDN, so playing a round does not tell any other company that you are here.

What a finished round sends

When a round ends, two things may be uploaded. Both describe the round; neither contains an image.

A score, if the round was ranked: your display name, the score, accuracy, combo, hit and miss counts, the round played and how long it took.

A round log, which is a diagnostic used to tune difficulty. It holds, target by target: which strike was called, how early or late you were, how fast the limb was moving, and how confidently the camera could see the joint involved. Alongside that it records frame rate, how long the model took to load, your browser’s user-agent string, screen size, and the camera resolution your device chose.

It also records how far you moved from where you started, as two numbers every second. That is derived from your pose, so we would rather say so plainly than imply nothing about your body is ever transmitted. It is a pair of distances in metres — not a skeleton, not a picture, and not enough to reconstruct one.

Round logs are private to the account that made them. Nobody else can read yours, including other players.

Accounts

You can play without an account. Doing so still creates an anonymous session so your scores have something to belong to — it holds no personal details.

If you create an account we store your email address, your display name, and a profile picture if you upload one. Your display name appears on the leaderboard; that is the only thing here other players can see.

Stored on your device only

Your settings, your stage progress, your best scores and a copy of your recent round logs are kept in your browser’s local storage and are never uploaded on their own. Clearing your browser data deletes them. The pose model is cached by the service worker so a second round works on a poor connection.

Who else is involved

Supabase hosts the database, accounts and profile pictures. Vercel hosts and serves the site. Both necessarily see the network requests your browser makes, including your IP address.

The marketing site at nakmuayarena.com loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when that page loads. The game itself at play.nakmuayarena.com loads nothing from anyone else.

Advertising and tracking

There are no advertising trackers, no analytics scripts and no third-party cookies. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in.

Deleting your data

To have your account, scores and round logs deleted, contact us at the address below. To remove what is on your device, clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
